In the middle of the desert, atop a small gorge, there is a place where roses grow freely. Everywhere in this small town, roses line the streets, serving a symbol of decor, pride, and even hope that even in the most desolate expanses life can persist.
Welcome to Rose Point Gulch, where people seeking to start a new life can call home.
We got everything cowpokes and city slickers alike could want: fresh running water at the bottom of the gulch, a dedicated sheriff, a beautiful and wise mayor... heck, we even got a job lined up for you! So long as you can contribute to the community, you're free to stay as long as you like!
Pay no mind to the ghost stories and "alien sightings", though. They're just for entertainment! Really!

Rose Point Gulch is a pan-fandom alternate universe role playing game where characters are played as if they have gone out west to start a new life for themselves. They have stumbled across a town that's starting to get on its feet, likely attracted by all the roses that seem to grow everywhere. It's a nice sight in contrast to the desert that expands as far as the eye can see!
After constructing a backstory that fits the setting and being accepted to the game as a whole, characters are designated a job to help the community and the quality of life thrive. You may play out a lighthearted slice of life story line for your character just fine here...
Or you can also have your character get caught up in the strange happenings that seem to happen around The Gulch. These events may range from ghosts to strange creatures to "alien" experiences, something guaranteed to shake up every day life!
Regardless of what you'd like to do in this setting, the game is here for some lighthearted fun, with adventure and mystery that your character(s) can opt into. It will start off small and humble for the initial two or three months, but begin to open to something less "jam jar", where players and characters are encouraged to help with world building and technological (perhaps magical?) advances.
